Certainly, a busy day. This morning, we witnessed the launch of the Financial Inclusion Strategy, as well as the FCA’s announcement of an extension to the motor finance redress consultation. Some of our motor members were involved in a discussion with the FCA this morning. I will attend two more meetings with the regulators by the end of the day.

As expected, discussions remain ongoing around the FCA’s proposed motor finance redress scheme during the consultation period. We are continuing to represent member views, highlighting considerations around the potential design of the scheme and its implications for smaller lenders.
