Live Learning
The Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR) brought in key conduct requirements for firms, senior managers and staff working in financial services. With non-financial misconduct also coming under the FCA’s remit from September 2026, individual-level conduct is under the regulatory microscope more than ever.
This session will cover individual-level conduct expectations in depth, providing frontline staff with insight into the regulator’s expectations on both financial and non-financial misconduct. The session will also provide examples of conduct that do (and do not) constitute conduct rule breaches.
Staff should also undertake the CCTA Academy modules SM&CR Conduct Rules and Non-Financial Misconduct.

Conference
The CCTA Annual Conference remains a recognised “date for the diary” within the consumer credit sector, bringing together lenders, regulators, professional services, and industry stakeholders for a day of insight, discussion, and networking.
Held in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the conference offers a high-quality programme of regulatory, policy, and industry speakers, alongside a broad mix of delegates and exhibitors from across the consumer credit market.
The agenda will explore key developments shaping the sector, including regulatory reform, the Consumer Duty, motor finance, financial inclusion, complaints and redress, technology and AI, and the evolving expectations of firms operating in a changing market.
Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and practical industry insight, the conference is designed to help firms understand emerging risks, share experiences, and navigate the increasingly complex consumer credit landscape with confidence.
