The regulatory landscape for Claims Management Companies (CMCs) is shifting, and we want to ensure you stay ahead of the latest changes. From 1 April 2025, the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) will begin charging CMCs a case fee. While this is a positive step, we are seeing CMCs ramp up their activity before the deadline.

CMC charging and implementation: FOS confirm details

It is good to see the news from the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) this morning that they will implement the charging of professional representatives, including claims management companies from 1 April 2025.
