This consultation has wide-ranging implications for lenders active in the motor finance market and will be a priority issue for the CCTA over the coming weeks. Our team has been in active dialogue with members, non-members, and key regulators — including the FCA, FOS, and HM Treasury – to ensure the sector’s views are well represented.
The FCA has also indicated a strong interest in direct engagement with lenders and brokers. They are organising a series of online briefing sessions and will be contacting firms to register interest if they haven’t already done so.
