We were in touch several times by email, and by phone to resolve your unpaid membership invoice.
As a decision was not received, we have unfortunately reached the point at which we needed to bring this matter to a close and has been expelled from the association.
We are sad to see you leave. Our aim is to be a strong voice for our members, providing insights and support for our members as we create a network of firms. Your involvement has been appreciated.
In the current environment, some have found themselves with the difficult decision to drop out of the market. If you are carrying on within consumer credit and wish to re-start your membership, please do get in touch with us.
Your CCTA membership ended on 01 January 1970
Any feedback you wish to be provide would be appreciated. If you are leaving the market, it would be good to understand if this has been forced upon you or a business decision. If you are remaining in the market, then it would be good to know why you are leaving the CCTA. Feedback can be emailed to membership@ccta.co.uk.
Lastly, we ask you to consider the following:
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regularly uses links with trade associations to get information out quickly or to ensure that attention is drawn to areas of priority.
While it is not mandatory to be in a trade association, we are asked by the FCA to provide information about our membership on a regular basis. You may be asked by them whether you are moving to another trade association for their records. And whether this is part of a wider change in your business.
If you have any references to the CCTA within your business (for example on your website or customer paperwork) then please remember to remove them. It is an offense to falsely claim trade association membership.
