The data shows the number of new whistleblowing reports received by the FCA between October and December 2025, and existing reports closed during this period.

New protections confirmed for BNPL borrowers

The FCA has confirmed new consumer protections for Buy-now Pay-later (BNPL) borrowers. These changes will apply from 15 July 2026 and are designed to improve outcomes for consumers while supporting responsible lending practices. The Policy Statement can be viewed here.
