Whistleblowing Directive published in Official Journal

Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (the Whistleblowing Directive) has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The Directive was proposed in April 2018 with the aim of establishing safe channels of reporting for whistleblowers in a variety of organisations. Member States are required to transpose the Directive into national law by 17 December 2021.
