UK Finance blog on cyber threat in financial services sector

UK Finance has published a blog post on the threat to financial services firms of cyber attacks, including those from organised criminals, ‘lone wolves’, disgruntled employees, and state-sponsored actors. The post refers to a white paper by Gadhia Consultants and Huntswood, Cyber security in the boardroom, which is addressed to boards and provides guidance on how they can ensure they have the most appropriate security in place, have continuity plans in place for the eventuality of a cyber incident, and how and to whom they should communicate the news of a cyber breach.
