Treasury’s Financial Inclusion Report published

Last month, HM Treasury published the fourth annual report on Financial Inclusion for 2021/2022. Amongst many financial capability and resilience matters, the report also addresses key areas such as access to cash, affordable credit, dormant assets and helping vulnerable customers.  The government will also publish its consultation on the draft legislation to bring BNPL into regulation very shortly, following which it aims to lay legislation in mid-2023.
