Treasury launches consultation on draft BNPL legislation

As has been anticipated, HM Treasury have now launched their consultation on draft legislation for the Buy-Now, Pay-Later sector. The consultation covers the feedback from stakeholders gathered in the initial consultation, sets out the transitional arrangements that will apply to firms and agreements once regulation commences and asks for feedback on the draft legislation being proposed. The consultation will close on 11 April 2023.
