Treasury Committee launches Future of Financial Services inquiry
Regulatory Updates | 20/11/20
The Treasury Committee has announced the launch of its Future of Financial Services inquiry, which will consider the future of financial services in the UK after the Brexit transition period ends. The inquiry will examine how financial services regulations should be set and scrutinised by Parliament, as EU directives will cease to govern new rules and regulations. It will also consider how regulators are funded and the extent to which financial services regulation should be consumer-focussed. The inquiry is accepting evidence until 8 January 2021.
