Treasury calls for proposals on financial services regulation

TREASURY CALLS FOR PROPOSALS ON FINANCIAL SERVICES REGULATION

The Treasury has launched a call for proposals on the new secondary growth and competitiveness objectives of the FCA and the PRA. The Financial Services and Markets Bill provided objectives to the regulators to improve the growth and competitiveness of the UK financial services market and the government is looking for proposals on metrics for ensuring the accountability and transparency of the regulators around the progress towards growth and competitiveness, which can then be used to scrutinise these objectives. The call for proposals is open until 4th July 2023.
