Tory MP submits questions to Chancellor around FOS

On 12th January, Tory MP Alex Stafford, submitted a number of questions to the Chancellor around the service and impartiality of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). The questions were centred around the impartiality of both FOS and their Independent Assessor, as well as, the adequacy of the FOS’s complaints handling procedures.
