The overdraft rip-off!

Major lenders typically charge fees 50 times higher than the best market rates. It is estimated customers could be paying up to £640million in unnecessary fees. Critics said the figures were proof of how the big banks penalise loyal customers. Up to 12 million people are being stung for rip-off overdraft charges of up to £87 a year by the big banks, a study suggests.
