The 323,000 borrowers who are still on mortgage and credit card holidays urged to contact lenders as the payment freeze ends in nine days
Industry News | 22/10/20
• Hard-up borrowers were offered payment holidays of up to 6 months in April
• They can also benefit from fee-free overdrafts of up to £500
• But these measures expire on 31 October and will be replaced by new measures
• Some 323,000 payment holidays are still in place and it is feared those still on payment breaks face a ‘double whammy’ as the furlough scheme ends too.
