Radio ads to spare listeners the baffling small print babble

New guidance issued by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) advises that many of the qualifications delivered by fast-speaking voiceover artists at the end of radio advertisements are not required by law. The guidance applies to motor brands offering credit deals, whose radio advertisements are often among the most complex. The radio industry has called for the terms and conditions required for other types of commercial to also be streamlined.
