Progress of the FCA’s transformation programme

Charles Randell, Chair of the FCA, wrote to John Glen MP setting out progress on the FCA’s transformation programme.

The letter sets out changes in the FCA’s approach, including moving faster to identify firms and individuals who are more likely to cause harm. The FCA is establishing a stronger surveillance function to improve how it identifies issues and firms and individuals of concern. This includes creating specialist teams trained to act on intelligence and information faster, achieving better outcomes for consumers.
