Philip Hammond sets out vision for UK-EU financial services post-Brexit

HM Treasury has published a speech by the chancellor of the exchequer, Philip Hammond MP, at the annual Investment Association dinner. Discussing Brexit, Mr Hammond said the government was 100% committed to getting a deal that allows UK financial services to flourish and grow. He said the government’s Future Partnership white paper proposes a framework that allows the benefits of UK-EU financial services trade to continue, and maintains open markets and deep regulatory co-operation.
