New Complaints Commissioner appointed

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Bank of England (BoE) have announced the appointment of Amerdeep Somal as the next Complaints Commissioner effective from 1 November 2020. The role of the Commissioner is to independently oversee the final stage of investigations into complaints against the FCA, PRA and the BoE. Amerdeep Somal will serve an initial term of three years, replacing current Commissioner, Antony Townsend.
