MR18/1.4 – PSR consultation on its proposed approach to the merchant survey

The Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) has published a consultation on its proposed market review into the supply of card-acquiring services. The final Terms of Reference were published on 24 January 2019 and state that the PSR will undertake a survey of small and medium-sized merchants in the UK. The consultation ends on 13 June 2019 and the PSR plans to publish a report setting out our interim conclusions on the supply of card-acquiring services in Q4 2019.
