MP calls for Buy Now Pay Later regulation

MP Stella Creasy has tabled an amendment to the Financial Services and Markets Bill asking the government to bring in regulation on BNPL amid worries of thousands being pushed into debt over Christmas. MP’s will vote on the amendment, which also calls for the Secretary of State to make provisions for BNPL regulation within 28 days of the passing of this Act.
