Mandatory FCA Covid Impact Survey

The FCA’s Covid Impact Survey has helped it obtain an accurate view of the impact of Covid-19 and supported FCA work to mitigate risks of harm to consumers, the market and competition within it.
The FCA is repeating it’s the survey for the fourth time. The survey will be sent relevant firms in Tranche 2, including some non-bank lenders, on one of the following dates:
Batch 1: to be sent on 19th May 2021 – response due by 9th June 2021
Batch 2: to be sent on 20th May 2021 – response due by 10th June 2021
Batch 3: to be sent on 21st May 2021 – response due by 11th June 2021
Batch 4: to be sent on 25th May 2021 – response due by 15th June 2021
The FCA send a warm-up/introduction email to all the firms at least 1 day prior to them receiving the survey.
This survey will include 10 questions in total, designed to provide information about the following areas:
• Liquidity/cash availability and needs
• Recent financial performance
• Scale of business activity
• Access to government schemes
Completion of the survey is mandatory for firms.
