Latest FCA board minutes published

The latest FCA Board minutes were published.

The FCA Board meeting on 21^st June 2021 discussed the proposed FCA Business Plan for 2021/22.

The FCA CEO provided a report at the meeting on 24^th June 2021. The Board also heard a report from the Complaints Commissioner and discussed the FCA’s response.

Nikhil Rathi briefed the Board on Google’s intention to change their terms and conditions requiring those wishing to run Google ads relating to financial products or services to be authorised by the FCA, or to have their ads approved by an FCA-authorised firm. The minutes show the Board wanted to be kept updated regarding these measures including evidence of their effectiveness.
