Government decides to halt SDRP regulation

Following a consultation this year, it was widely expected that the Government would bring in new regulation around the proposed Statutory Debt Repayment Plan (SDRP) scheme. The Government has now announced that they will not be laying regulation in this area this year and will, instead, make further decisions on the policy based on the outcome of the ongoing personal insolvency framework review, led by the Insolvency Service.
