Future Regulatory Framework Review – HM Treasury Call for Evidence
Industry News | 19/07/19

HM Treasury has launched its Future Regulatory Framework Review, in which it proposes to take stock of the overall approach to regulation of the financial services sector, including how the regulatory framework may need to adapt in the future, particularly in relation to when the UK leaves the EU. As Phase 1 of the review, HM Treasury has launched a call for evidence, seeking evidence on regulatory co-ordination in the financial services sector. Specifically, the consultation asks for views on whether more can be done to co-ordinate the work of each regulator, with the aim of eliminating unnecessary burden. Comments on the Call for Evidence are invited by October 2019.
