FOS publishes strategy to 2025

The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) has published its new strategy, Taking them to 2025. The three strategic priorities for the next five years are:
• enhancing the service: The FOS aims to set the standard for modern, efficient, accessible alternative dispute resolution which recognises and responds to the need and expectations of the organisations and people that rely on the service;
• preventing complaints and unfairness arising: By working collaboratively with others, the FOS aims to find new and better ways of harnessing insight to achieve fairer outcomes, helping to underpin trust and confidence; and
• building an organisation with the capabilities it needs for the future: Using its strength as a diverse, values-based organisation, the FOS will develop and retain the capabilities it will need into the future.
