FOS publishes annual complaints data
Regulatory Updates | 03/06/20
The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) has published its annual complaints data for the 2019–20 financial year, together with an article from Caroline Wayman, the chief ombudsman and chief executive, which provides sector-by-sector commentary on trends in the complaints data.
The FOS states that, across its casework, a limited number of COVID-19-related complaints were filed before the end of March 2020. The FOS expects to see more complaints of this kind and will be keeping in close touch with the FCA and businesses to understand how 2020-21 is likely to develop.
