FOS publishes annual complaints data 2022-23

The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) has today published statistics for annual complaints data for 2022-23. The data highlights that the FOS received over 165,000 complaints for the year, a slight increase on the previous year. It is no surprise that the FOS has seen a continuing increase in the number complaints relating to charges, fees and commissions in motor finance. Pawnbroking broking was the sector with the lowest uphold rate (19%). You can read the full statistics here.
