FOS publish data showing the number of complaints they received between April and June 2019.

In the first three months of this financial year they received 136,681 new enquiries and 70,304 new complaints – with 12,538 complaints passed to an ombudsman for a final decision. On average, they upheld 30% of the complaints they resolved.
They’ve also published, for the first time, the complaints they received about claims management companies (CMCs), since becoming responsible for complaints about CMCs in April 2019.
