FCA to carry out section 165 data requests

As announced by the regulator previously, this week the FCA will be carrying out data requests under Section 165 of the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA). This is in relation to Introducer Appointed Representatives (IARs) and Appointed Representatives (ARs). Principal firms who have ARs or IARs will receive the mandatory requests between 8-10 December and will have until 28th February 2023 to respond.
