FCA taking steps to improve whistle-blower confidence
Regulatory Updates | 09/05/23
Last week, the FCA announced that it is looking to take steps to improve the confidence of whistle-blowers. Following a qualitative survey of whistle blowers, the regulator is looking at sharing further information with whistle-blowers on how it has acted on their information and improving on both how it captures information from whistle-blowers, and it can improve on the use of that information. The FCA’s revised approach will provide as much information as possible within the often-restrictive legislative constraints.
