FCA survey highlights generational shift in attitudes towards consumer complaining

Regulatory Updates | 08/11/18

The FCA has published the results of a survey of UK consumers’ attitudes towards complaining, as part of its campaign to encourage people to check if they were mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI) and make a complaint before the 29 August 2019 deadline. The FCA says more than 15 million people in the UK routinely miss out on refunds, replacement products and getting problems sorted because they don’t know how to complain with confidence.
