FCA quarterly financial promotions data – Q1 2023

The FCA has published the latest financial promotions data for Q1 of 2023 (January to March). The regulator reviewed 539 financial promotions in the quarter. Their intervention with 47 authorised firms resulted in 2235 financial promotions being amended or withdrawn and 10 VREQ’s being approved. They highlight that their work also resulted in them issuing 611 alerts in relation to unauthorised firms or individuals and clone firms.
