FCA publishes response to panel annual reports

The FCA published responses to the key issues raised in the annual reports from the various panels that are part of the regulatory framework.

In its response to the Consumer Panel, the FCA covered a range of issues including: fair treatment of vulnerable customers; financial inclusion; and access to cash.

The FCA’s response to the Small Business Practitioner Panel covered issues such as the risks associated with consolidation in the consumer credit sector and the collection of data by the FCA.

The FCA’s response to the Practitioner Panel confirms that the FCA will consult on the detail of the proposed new Consumer Duty in December this year.
