FCA publishes Quarterly Consultation Paper No 28

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published CP20/7: Quarterly Consultation Paper No 28. The paper consults on miscellaneous proposed amendments to the FCA Handbook, including amendments the Consumer Credit rules in CONC 7 to reflect amendments to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 made by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Order 2020, specifically with regard to the Bounce Bank Loan Scheme (BBLS). Feedback is sought by 5 July 2020 on the proposed amendments to Chapters 2 and 3 of the Handbook, and by 31 July 2020 on the proposed amendment to Chapter 4.
