FCA publishes interim findings from BiFD project

The FCA has published interim findings from its Borrowers in Financial Difficulty (BiFD) project to help firms ensure they deliver the best outcomes for customers needing support.

The project is ongoing, but the FCA wants to provide stakeholders with an insight into the interim findings from the regular surveys and deep dives they have undertaken with lenders.

With the pandemic ongoing the regulator wants to reiterate its expectations for the treatment of customers, as set out in the Tailored Support Guidance (TSG).
