FCA publishes business plan guidance for lending firms

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published a webpage providing guidance for firms preparing a business plan as part of their application for authorisation as a lending firm. The page provides guidance for all types of lending firm, as well as specific guidance for: unsecured credit lenders; pawnbrokers; home collected credit firms; high-cost short-term credit firms; hire purchase firms; debt counselling, debt adjusting, and credit information firms; and firms with Appointed Representatives.
