FCA October 2020 Policy Development Update

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published its Policy Development Update for October 2020, providing information on recent and upcoming publications and consultations. Future publications include consultation papers on amendments to CONC and MCOB accommodate Breathing Space Regulations, and a new regulatory regime for funeral plans, both expected in Q4 2020.
The FCA will also publish feedback to CP20/13, Mortgages: Removing barriers to intra-group switching and helping borrowers with maturing interest-only and part-and-part mortgages before the end of 2020, as well as a policy statement to CP20/5, Open-ended Investment Companies – Proposals to facilitate standard listing.
