FCA launches webpage on AML – CTF regulations coming into force 10 January

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published a webpage advising on The Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) Regulations 2019 (SI 2019/1511), which largely come into force on 10 January 2020. The Regulations amend the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (SI 2017/692) to implement the fifth European money laundering directive (MLD5) in UK law.
