The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published an Insight paper, Robo advice — will consumers get with the programme? The authors note that while many see automated platforms using algorithms to guide consumers as a way to provide widespread and affordable solutions, FCA research has found substantial resistance among consumers to this ‘robo-advice.’
