FCA Handbook Notice 80 – Consumer Credit (High Net Worth Exemption) Instrument 2020

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published Handbook Notice 80. The board of the FCA has made a number of changes to the Handbook to reflect instruments published in September 2020. Following a consultation in Quarterly Consultation No 27 (CP20/4), The Consumer Credit (High Net Worth Exemption) Instrument 2020 makes changes to CONC App 1.4.
In summary, this instrument makes changes to the FCA Handbook to increase the range of options for individuals and firms for obtaining a statement of high net worth. The Institute of Financial Accountants has been added to the list appearing in CONC App 1.4.3R. The instrument came into force on 1 October 2020.
