FCA consults on new benchmarks powers

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has opened a consultation which proposes the policy approach under the Financial Services Bill for the exercise of the FCA’s powers under a new Article, 23D, which would grant it the ability, in certain circumstances, to impose requirements on the administrator of a critical benchmark designated under a new Article 23A. Consultation ends: 18 January 2021.
