FCA consults on changes to appointed representatives regime
Regulatory Updates | 08/12/21
The FCA is consulting on changes to the Appointed Representatives regime. The consultation paper contains proposals which aim to reduce potential harm and ensure that the regime delivers good outcomes for consumers and markets.
HM Treasury has published its Call for Evidence on the regime at the same time. By publishing both documents together they hope it will allow firms to consider both the broader principles of the regime in the Call for Evidence, and the detailed proposals on regulating principals in the FCA consultation.
