FCA consults on Brexit approach in consultation papers 18/28 (CP18/28) and 18/29 (CP18/29)

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published two consultation papers (CP18/28: Brexit: proposed changes to the Handbook and Binding Technical Standards and CP18/29: Temporary permissions regime for inbound firms and funds) which set out its proposals in the event the UK leaves the EU on 29 March 2019 without an implementation period. It has also set out its approach to the regulation of credit rating agencies, trade repositories and data reporting services providers.
