The FCA’s complaints team has been labelled ‘inadequately resourced’ and dogged by ‘basic failures’ in a scathing report by the complaints commissioner, published on 21 April.
The final report on a complaint made by a regulated business, handed down on 3 April, found the FCA should pay back £250 to a firm. The redress was due, it said, because of massive delays from the regulator’s complaints team regarding the case.
