FCA Complaints data

The FCA published its latest complaints data.
The data includes:
• Firm specific data – data from individual firms that have reported 500 or more complaints in a six month period, or 1,000 or more in a year (approximately 290 firms); and
• Aggregate data – all the complaints that firms report to the FCA. Over 3,000 firms submit complaints data to the FCA reporting one or more complaint.
In the second half of 2020, firms received 2.19m complaints, 26% lower than in the first of the year (2.96m complaints). These are the lowest levels recorded since 2016.
