FCA appoints directors to lead on enforcement and oversight

Last week, the FCA announced that it has appointed two Executive Directors to co-lead their Enforcement and Market Oversight division. The FCA have said that, following the departure of mark Steward, the appointment of both Therese Chambers and Steve Smart are vital in enforcement division to deliver on their 3-year strategy. Therese brings extensive regulatory, supervisory and legal experience whilst Steve brings criminal enforcement, investigatory, intelligence and security experience.
