The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published a report on potential impediments to the cross-border provision of banking and payment services, in which it recommends actions to the European Commission to remove barriers and facilitate the scaling up of banking and payments activities across the EU. The EBA also published a set of complementary FAQs explaining context and next steps.
