COVID 19 – Next stage of Treasury Committee inquiry includes financial sector focus

The Treasury Committee has published the terms of reference for the next stage of its inquiry into the economic effect of COVID-19. The Committee launched the first stage on 18 March when it issued a call for evidence on the speed, effectiveness and reach of the Government’s and Bank of England’s immediate financial responses to COVID-19.
