The Business Banking Resolution Service (BBRS) has published a report, The impact of covid-19 loan schemes on business banking dispute resolution. The BBRS examines the issues that may arise due to the statistically significant participation of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Government-backed loan schemes, focusing on banks’ treatment of business customers, businesses’ experience with the Government financial aid schemes and the potential economic consequences and challenges arising from them.
